I stumbled upon this process during a hike one day back in 2015.
I had heard someone describe how everything has a spirit or soul-essence, from trees, to rocks, to the elements, animals, ideas, money, etc. and something clicked into place that hadn’t before.
I had had experiences over the years where I made contact with these spirits or the essence of these things, but I didn’t really understand or grasp the vastness of information and the interconnection between myself and them, nor the depth to which I could communicate, ask for guidance, healing, and assistance.
Frankly, I kinda felt like I was making it up sometimes. Funny how we can be open to guidance in certain ways, but in others we think “Oh, no way. Not THAT. That’s too out there.”
Can you relate?
After that hike I went home and sat in my office. I was studying & developing my mediumship abilities in a course during that time, so I used those same skills and led myself into a light trance state. Similar to when I’m making contact with those who have passed on, I called forth the Soul of My Business. Almost immediately, I began downloading information and channeling what she* was saying. I had a stack of sticky notes which was the closest bit of paper I could find at the time with pages of information specific to my purpose and what my business is truly about!
(*I’ve found that many of my female client’s who provide healing/coaching/transformational service have a feminine energetic Soul of Business, but it’s not the rule, they can be masculine or androgynous as well).
That initial conversation was only the beginning. I’ve come to deepen my relationship and communion with the Soul of My Business and not only has my business become more focused, but I feel calmer, more connected, more confident and definitely clearer about what I’m called to do – and how to do it while keeping my Soul at the forefront (instead of as an afterthought).
The biggest change I noticed after this initial dialogue was that I suddenly didn’t feel alone anymore. All the ideas and inspirations that I had been downloading started to make sense and I was hearing how they all went together and what my true work & mission is through my business.
